For Mathew Anderson, public service has always been about the people.
As an educator, Mathew has spent more than a decade building relationships with students, families, and communities. Every day in the classroom has reminded him that behind every issue is a person, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard.
Mathew was raised in Canvas, West Virginia with the belief that you work hard, treat people with kindness, and help your neighbors whenever you can. Those values have guided his life, his career, and now his decision to run for the West Virginia House of Delegates.
Over the past year, Mathew has traveled throughout the district,u00a0 knocking doors, hosting an event, attending community events, and sitting down with residents to hear their hopes, concerns, and ideas for the future. He believes the best leaders don’t just talk – they LISTEN and take action.
This campaign has been about more than just politics. It’s about making sure the voices of our families, our workers, our schools, and our communities are represented. Mathew is running because he believes West Virginia deserves leaders who care, show up, and who will fight every day for a better future for the people who call this state home.u00a0
